The Robert B Greenblatt, MD Library hosted the National Library of Medicine traveling exhibit, Changing the Face of Medicine: Celebrating America's Women Physicians, during the months of March and April 2006. The exhibit, which is also available online, tells the extraordinary story of how American women who practice medicine have struggled over the past two centuries to gain access to medical education and to work in chosen specialties. Two MCG alumni, Drs. Leila Denmark and Lois Ellison are featured in the online exhibit. As part of the exhibit program, the Library hosted four public events.
