Live chat allows you to ask questions in real time about library research and resources. Priority is given to students, faculty, and staff of the Medical College of Georgia.

The Ask a Librarian service is best suited to short questions. Chat Services cannot provide lengthy answers to complex questions. If you have a research-intensive question, it may be better suited for a library liaison. Some services are provided online but are not available via chat such as requests to:

• send materials
  
• renew materials that are overdue
