What is the Library Liaison Program?

It's a way of linking with our professional schools, staying in tune with their needs, providing continuity of contact, and keeping them informed about library enhancements to better serve the health information needs of the clinicians and researches. What types of services can be provided?

Meet with departmental faculty/staff on a regular basis (e.g., liaison can serve as member of curriculum committees, departmental meetings and/or school faculty assemblies)

Distribute information on new services and resources

Collect recommendations for new resources and services

Demonstrate library resources and services

Provide hands-on training on use of resources

Provide customized and/or individualized instructional sessions

Provide literature searches for a fee
