Beyond the core databases which focus on the biomedical literature, there are many other resources that can provide additional useful clinical content. This module will identify primary resources in the area of disease/drug information and medical textbooks as opposed to specific journal literature.

Upon completion of this module, you will be able to:

identify sources of eBook content based on discipline/health topic

recognize drug information resources, MICROMEDEX® Healthcare Series, and the different clinical databases

differentiate between DISEASEDEX™ summaries, clinical reviews, and studies and alerts

perform a keyword search across multiple databases to increase number of results
