To maximize the effective and efficient use of electronic classrooms located within the Greenblatt Library for hands on computerized instruction.

Room 163: Has 19 workstations and an instructor’s station and projector. Can seat up to 20-25. Common applications are loaded on all stations. Stations allow for full functionality with minimum security in place. Printing is available to networked lab printers.

Room 127: Has 30 workstations with an instructor’s station, 2 projectors with 2 screens, and a video player. Networked system allows for viewing student stations from the instructor’s station or displaying instructor’s station to all student stations and other features. Sound system for instructor and students. Common applications are loaded on all stations. Printing is available to networked lab printers.      2.4 Open enrollment classes; may not be able to guarantee until one month before each semester
2.5 Special requests for exceptions will be accommodated when possible

3.0

As electronic classrooms are in high demand, "just in case scheduling" should be avoided.

4.0   Reservations should be canceled as soon as one is aware of no longer needing the room.

5.0

The smaller classroom (149) should be scheduled for small groups (12 or less) in order to leave the larger classroom for larger classes.

6.0

When not scheduled for instruction, Room 149 will be available for overflow from the computer lab

7.0 Due to the advanced capabilities of room 127, it will be scheduled primarily for large groups or groups with a special need of those capabilities. Please schedule in advance for training and/or assistance with the equipment.
8.0 Electronic classrooms are to be set up and shut down by assigned personnel only. Instructors should not shut down electronic classrooms, since they may be scheduled for other use during the day.
9.0 Every effort is made to keep the equipment working properly. If you find problems, please report them as soon as possible.
10.0 Entire credit courses should not be scheduled in electronic classrooms.
