Direct Import from ScienceDirect
  1. Open an EndNote Library (*.enl).
  2. Search ScienceDirect.
  3. Check each reference to be exported.
  4. Click “export citation” link (Fig. 6).
  5. On Export screen (Fig. 7):
  • Citations – confirm selection of references.
  • Export – choose "Citations and Abstracts".
  • File Format – choose "RIS format".
  1. Click export button; EndNote may ask to confirm or select the EndNote Library to accept the references. The newly added references will display in the Library (Fig. 8).
