Preferences allow certain settings to be reset to a searcher's options (a
"My Account" feature).
- Click Exact Search or
Keyword Search tabs to display the top
menu bar.
- Click Preferences
- Home Institution: Medical College of Georgia
- Enter patron barcode and last name as requested.
- Click Logon to My Account.
- Indicate preferences (see below) and click Save.
- When browser warning box opens with message "Preferences were saved," click
OK.
- Click New Search at top menu bar to begin searching
with saved preferences.
Note: search preferences are canceled when a search session
ends or times-out, OR when the MCG temple icon or Greenblatt/MCG banner is clicked to restart
the GIL catalog or go to the GIL homepage.
